The last 5 and 6 of June VTEQ attended the XXIII PTI Meeting in Caceres, Spain. During the conference AECA ITV have highlighted the advances related to the future implementation of electronic e-ITV in Spain, companies in the sector are studied with the aim of expanding the scope of inspections. Thus the PTI could do the review of systems such as those for engine management (OBD), ABS brakes and airbags, among others, currently monitored by visual and mechanical methods. AECA-ITV presented the study to be conducted with twelve companies from PTI and twelve diagnostic equipment manufacturers over 834 vehicles to 2378 that underwent testing.
